Silver keychain pendant depicting the *Testa Addormentata* (Sleeping Head) motif, created by Igor Mitoraj for Amnesty International. Signed **Mitoraj** on the reverse alongside the incised inscription *amnesty international*.

## Context in Mitoraj's œuvre

The Testa Addormentata (Sleeping Head) motif recurs across Mitoraj's work from the mid-1970s onward. The face turned as if in sleep, features softened, the eyes closed or hidden — the motif carries the same iconography as the artist's larger bronzes but here compressed into a pendant scale for human wear. Mitoraj's silver keychains and small objects for institutional causes are among the rarest of his catalogue and typically appear only through estate dispersal or private sale, not through auction channels.
